Palo Santo wood (Bursera Graveolens) comes from seasoned wood, collected without having to unnecessarily fell trees. After the wood has been resting on the forest floor for around 6 years, it begins to develop a sweet and smoky scent. Healers and shamans of South America believe that Palo Santo has a strong spirit that has to be treated with respect. The spirit continues to live in the wood long after the tree has fallen, and when treated properly, will assist in restoring your physical and energetic wellbeing.
This product is 100% sustainable and ethically sourced from Peru.
How to use
Light the stick with a candle flame or lighter, you will have to hold the stick to the flame for at least 5-10 seconds then blow out the flame. Allow the Palo Santo smoke to gently cleanse your environment with its wonderfully unique scent.
It is advisable to use a heatproof bowl to burn the wood in.
